Dr Wendy Picard

Dr. Wendy Picard received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in child and adolescent psychology from the State University of New York at Albany.  She received her Master’s degree from State University of New York at Albany and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Franklin and Marshall College.  Her clinical internship in child and adolescent psychology was completed at Tufts University/New England Medical Center and adult training at the Boston VA Medical Center.

Dr. Picard is married and has four children. 

Dr. Picard has been licensed in the state of Florida since 1992.  Prior to this, she was licensed in the state of Massachusetts, where she worked for two years before moving to Florida.  Dr. Picard’s professional experience includes:

             - 1992 – Present – Private Practice – Licensed Psychologist, evaluations and therapy

             - Consultant and Evaluator for Broward County Early Intervention Program, Birth to Three (Part C) – 5+ years.

            - Evaluations and Expert Testimony for Palm Beach County Child Protection Team   

             - Guest Speaker – several topics, including parenting, ADHD, etc. at local schools and organizations.

             - Assistant Professor Psychology – University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth
(left position to move to Florida and devote to full time clinical practice).
